The Town of Avon Public Works Department would like to remind our residents that in accordance with town ordinance #20, parking on any street while snow removal operations are being conducted is restricted. In addition to a penalty, a police officer may order any vehicle which is parked so as to impede traffic to be towed from the location in which it is parked to a vehicle pound, at the owners or operators expense.
NOTE
Snow removal operations can continue up to 24 hours after the
cessation of snowfall.
