Commending Exceptional Performance
The Avon Police Department has set up a Police Officer Meritorious Service Fund. The purpose of the fund has been established to assuage or aid in ameliorating unavoidable hardships suffered by Qualified Officers of the Avon Police Department arising in the line of duty to the extent not compensated through the Police Department or any other source.
Encourage ongoing, otherwise unfounded scholarly effort of meaningful value to the Police Department. Recognize exceptionally meritorious conduct so long as such conduct is performed in the line of duty or is otherwise related to Police affairs.
Please stop by the Avon Police Department for a brochure, or contact the Chief Administrative Officer for the Town of Avon, Brandon Robertson at 860-409-4300.
