Flu Shots
The Farmington Valley VNA will be holding a Flu Shot Clinic at the Avon Senior Center on Friday, October 7, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Please call the Farmington Valley VNA at 860-653-5514 for information or to sign up for an appointment.

Senior Cafe Community Lunch Program:  Nutritious hot meals are offered two days per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) at noon at the Avon Senior Center.  Preregistration is required.  A donation of $2.00 provides a "soup to nuts" meal.  Please call the Senior Center, at (860) 675-4355 by 12:30pm the previous day to register.
 
Meals on Wheels:  This is a nonprofit community service provided to local residents through the McLean Home.  It is aimed at enabling ill, homebound, or disabled persons to maintain their independence in their own homes.  Further information is available through the McLean Home, at (860) 658-3700

Footcare Clinics: Dr. Lindsay will be at the Avon Senior Center on the 1st Monday of every month from 9:00 am-12:00 pm for: Assessment of feet (skin, nails, etc.), Toenail clipping, Callus removal, provide resources & answer questions.  The cost is $40.00.  Please see the contact information below:

Blood Pressure Clinics:  The 2nd Monday of every month, from 11:00am-1:00pm and on the 4th Monday of the month from 11:00am - 1:00pm.  No appointment is necessary, and there is no charge.
