CT Energy Assistance Programs:
The State of CT helps households pay for primary heating bills. To be eligible, household income could be up to 200% of the federal poverty income guidelines. Please click on the Energy Assistance Benefits & Documents Needed for Energy Assistance links below.
If you are a 1st - time applicant & heating with OIL or PROPANE, please call our office after October 1st, 2012 @ (860) 409-4346 to see if you qualify & to schedule an appointment. For those who heat with ELECTRIC or GAS, please call after November 1, 2012 to receive information and to schedule an appointment.

Operation Fuel:
Operation Fuel provides one-time assistance with heating bills for those that do not qualify for government programs. More information is usually available by November each year through Gifts of Love at (860) 676-2323.
Citizen's Energy (Joe-4-Oil):
Customer Service has advised the Program has a very high call volume, but encourage people in need to contact 1-877-563-4645 for more information.
Renters' Rebate Program: If you are 65 or older or totally disabled and your annual income is below $40,900, you are eligible for a rebate from the State of Connecticut. The filing period is April 1 - October 1, 2013. For more information and/or an appointment, please call the Assessor's Office at 860-409-4335.
