LEGAL NOTICE TO
TOWN OF AVON TAXPAYERS
Notice is hereby given to all persons liable for payment to the Town of Avon of property taxes on the Grand List of October 1, 2010, that the second installment payment if due and payable January 1, 2012.. After
February 1, 2012 interest will be charged on the installment due from January 1, 2012 at the rate of one and one-half percent per month, or fraction thereof, (subject to a minimum interest charge of two dollars on each delinquent bill) as prescribed by law.
Notice is also given to all persons liable for payment to the Town of Avon of Motor Vehicle Property
Taxes on the Supplement to the Grand List of October l, 2010 that payment is due and payable January l, 2012. After February l, 2012 interest will be charged as prescribed by law. The General Statues of the State
of Connecticut, which apply to the levy and collection of property taxes will be enforced against all
persons negelecting this notice.
The Office of the Collector of Revenue will be open in the Town Hall, 60 West Main Street, Monday through Friday 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., and closed December 26, 2011, January 2, 2011 and January 16, 2012 in
observance of holidays.
